Mobile Market Data Analyst 

Job Description

10 hours per week @ $15 p/h *

*Hours subject to change per season.

Contract position


Job Duties:

  • Checking in customers via iPad /softwareor obtaining data from market manager at mobile market sites

  • Connecting with market manager for data info after each market.

  • Utilizing the Farmer’s Register (will be trained) POS system to check out customers and utilizing data on back end to report weekly findings of purchases

  • Managing invoices to and from vendors

  • Presenting data gathered each month

Requirements:

  • Clear driving record

  • Reliable transportation

  • Proficiency in MS Word & Excel

  • Experience in Data Entry Software

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Access to internet and computer

Experience:

(Logistics) 1 yr

Education:
B.A. preferred

Current Mobile Markets Hours:

Tuesdays: 3-6 PM Rosa Parks and/or Renaissance West

Wednesdays: 2-4  PM Moore Place

Thursdays: 3-6 PM Transit Center  

The Mobile Market Data Analyst position will help to capture and define our mission of getting mostly local produce to food insecure areas.  We want to gain more of a sense of who we are serving, how much food is taken, how people are feeling, etc.  Help us to measure our success by collecting and reporting data. Please note that this is a grant funded position in which hours may vary per season. 

Farm to Family Coordinator

15-20 hours per week @ $15 p/h *

Contract position



Job Duties:


  • Tues, Wed, Thurs complete farm tasks for mobile market at Streetfare farm

  • Majority of farm tasks include: maintenance of farm, harvesting and cleaning produce, packaging produce, washing eggs, collecting eggs, planting, pruning, weeding and composting.

  • Deliver food to walk-in cooler or straight to mobile market

  • Rescue food.

  • Set up and break down mobile markets

  • Track Mileage and Hours and report to E.D. for coverage.

  • Sign up and complete trainings in food safety, crisis intervention, etc. up to two times per year.

  • Report to Executive Director regarding hours, mileage, mobile market schedules, and trainings.

Requirements:

  • Clear driving record

  • Ability to haul trailer / willingness to be trained to haul trailer (liability insurance protected)

  • HS Diploma, GED or 18+

  • 1-3 years experience with local food system

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs


Experiencing in farming a plus, but not required. You will be trained on farm and mobile market procedures. 





Current Mobile Markets Hours:

Tuesdays: 3-6 PM Rosa Parks and/or Renaissance West

Thursdays: 3-6 PM Transit Center  

*Drop off points will depend on how much food is leftover *

Farm Hours:

Mondays: 9-1

Wednesdays: 9-1

The Farm to Market Coordinator position is designed to be a liason from farm to mobile market  in food insecure areas.  This position is to support and connect with the Executive Director so as to make markets streamlined and easy to learn for staff and volunteers. Due to weather and changing of seasons, hours may vary.  Report to Executive Director on time flex/how to recover hours. This position is offered under a grant system and will be offered only within grant timelines.
